| Newbie Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: Lynn Massachusetts | pgp pressure nightmare... Ok I am having issues with my PGP. It is 10 yrs old and 2 years ago I added the rear velocity adjustment kit. Since then every time I took it out I had to turn it in a little more each time. Now It's bottomed out and I'm only getting 190-220 fps on my chrono. Where can I get a replacement spring and what can be done to improve the longevity of the strength of said spring? thanks, Jackal Jackalkat@yahoo.com |

| Lord humungus the Mod | Sounds like your main spring is toast. As previously recommended give PPS a call and ask for a PGP main spring. Thier # is (916)-923-9676 -Jake

| Newbie Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: Lynn Massachusetts | Thanks for all your replies. I got my hands on a new spring but I'm curious if anyone else has had this problem of the spring wearing out after 1 to 1 1/2 yrs worth of use? This is my 3rd new spring in 7 yrs. Is there something I'm not doing that I should be? |

| Lord humungus the Mod | Chances are the gun remained cocked while stored for a period of time. It could also be possible that there are some internal parts that arent properly lubed and are causing undue friction somewhere. -Jake

| Newbie Join Date: May 2007 Location: Hicktown USA | I'm having a similar problem although my spring is brand stink'n new! I started having velocity issues and removed the origional spring to find it miss-shaped and just worn out. I purchased a RVA off ebay but now the darn thing won't shoot over 140 fps. I've also noticed that the puncture holes made by the pierce pin ar much smaller which leads me to think that maybe that is the problem? Any help you have would be nice before I start spending money! lol (btw sorry if I'm breaking any kind of forum law, I'm still getting the hang of things.)
