KP pics and questions, even a little WTB

So I got my KP, and did a little spit and polish on it,

First hurdle is the lug that holds the stock on, spins in place, how do I secure this? it looks like there is some solder on the inside?

Second, I'm going to tap it for CA, does anyone have instructions on how to do this, I will probably use a dummy so i can use 12 grams if I want to.

the parts I will need are a

1.dummy 12gram, and the ASA

2.Pump arm

3. Bolt, Cooper-T if you got one...

Before

After

I was thinking more about that feed...and with it up there you may find aiming a bit easier...allowing you to get your face behind it without the classic KP-Tilt..

I would suggest making the feed tube only long enough so a 10rounder can slip in and reload you...less chance of breaky breaky

CA...hmmmm what tank configuration are you thinking??? could you get away with the KP-3 air out the front?

For the feed, I don't like having to remove a 10 round tube and then replace one, so the feed gate/pvc thing should work, I'll trim it down to hold 12-13 rounds, and then use heat shrink to hold it on securely.

For the air, I'm thinking a PPS style drop, and a 3.5.

I'm not sure I want a long air line coming out the front, and then I still have a 3.5 mounting issue, but that would be easiest.

So I guess I'm open to a kp3 air adapter too....

See the problem with that is..... once it goes to PPS I figure I may as well, get a detent and wegits, and since I'm getting those I may as well get a 13 round spring feed, and why not a performance tune and quick strip bolt...and since all that is getting done I may as well get it re-barreled, and since it has a shiny new barrel I may as well get it nickled.....

Right....and if you are going to do all that, why not just go Scratch built and have 2 guns.

Your spinning lug. How about a crush washer on the outside of the tube next to the lug.

Your spinning lug- is the 'pringle' screw rotating?
