151 gram PGP adapter

I picked this up from sugarstump's e-bay auction. I haven't seen them before...even on here. I found it to be rather novel, so I just had to have it. Thought some others would like to see it in better detail.

Long and short of it is that it's an adapter to use these giant 151 gram CO2 cartridges. The design is pretty cool. Let me walk you through it.

Here is the full adapter and the 151 gram cartridge that came with it.

This is the top part of the adapter. You'll notice that the rod end that goes down your lower tube has lots of small holes around the outside while the main air line is on the inside. You'll also notice the small pin on the main adapter piece. This allows the main piece with the CO2 cartridge to rotate it's placement 360 around your PGP...more on that later.

Here is the bottom part of the adapter. Notice it's threaded and has insta-pierce.

And here's the adapter on a PGP. Even though I could rotate the adapter to different angles, I can't see playing with it in any angle but the one pictured. If I put it on the left, it would interfere with my pumping (unless you were left handed). The cartridge is too long for it to go below the PGP...and the pin sight interferes with it being above the top tube.

Another angle.

That's kinda neat. Doesn't seem very practical but is still kind of cool.

The only advantage I see is not having to reload 12 grams during a game.....or during a couple games. But you're right....more of a cool thing than functional.

Are those the same threads as the 88g ones? What's with the butt of it? Maybe it could be tapped to be reusable...

Love the quick feed thingy, who makes that?

Good breakdown.
It could function as a barrel blocker between games.

I thought about bidding on it too. I was thinking it looked as though it would accept the 88 grams as well.
