Would I need to mod my marker to fit a wire stock on it?

best way to put a stock on it is not to mod the marker itself. You can get a UMB (Universal Mounting Bracket)...you can get a new one from Palmers or a set of used ones if you put up a wanted ad here. They fit under your current grips and allow you to mount anything you'd like (stock, bottom ASA,etc ) to your maker easily. That's what you want.

Also, sheridan did at one point make a wire type stock for sheridan frames that works without any modification. I happen to own one. Ill snap some pics if I can tomorrow.

you could also make one that would bolt to the marker via the rear RVA attachment screw, but you'd prob need another screw or something to make sure there's no horizontal movement of the stock.

Kinda got a little washed out by the flash, and Im feeling a bit too lazy to upload these to my photobucket...

Basicly the top of the stock attaches to the rear grip screw, and the bottom is held in place by brackets under the grips. Second picture is the stock mounted on my E-Series.

Right, that's exactly what I was talking about. Those plates are UMB plates. They slide under your grips for mounting stocks (or ASA's) to.
