Replacing cup seal without threaded end of valve tool

Okay, so today i made myself a valve tool (only the square end tho, since i dont know the threads of the other end), and i just started taking apart my PMI-1 DF, i have removed the valve nut, but now i dont know how to get the other stuff out. Is it safe to just try to push it out from the 12 gram end?

Yes. I stripped the threads on the valve guide part on a sheridan once so I couldn't use the tool. I just pushed it out with a 12gram. It will be somewhat more difficult if there is still a lead seal in there.
