Purple KP3 - With WALZ FirstStrike breech.
Ok. I picked up this KP3 in early December. It was a wall-hanger and in a former life, a rental. Needless to say, it needed a little work.

Before pics:

So, after seeing melkson's new KP that WALZ was responsible for, I contacted WALZ and asked him to build me some similar parts.

After refinishing the stock, filling those nasty ball-bearing dents in the bolt tube, removing the feed neck, and adding the parts WALZ made for me, here is the finished product:

Stock is stained purple under a LOT of poly (I plan on taking her out for D-Day). Parts are white delrin dyed purple by WALZ. He did an excellent job with the parts I must say. Great guy, and helped me over the phone with the technical side of this project.

Great Job Tyler- That KP looks bad to the bone!! The PURPLE PEOPLE EATER...
You have done a real nice job on her. How does she sound with the cannonizer?

Why did you take off the direct feed and put a new part on - just to have another direct feed? I's lost...

The new DF feeds First Strike too.

Bad-*** gun, Twink, I love it. Bringing it to D-Day? It's too bad they don't allow FS, otherwise you could cause some serious damage with it.

Although I think using your brother as a tank mount may be a little cumbersome.

Okay - I have to see how that feed works. I am having trouble wrapping my head around it. Cool idea!

The feedblock slides forward to load first strike rounds. The thumb screws are for locking it in place. It has a back stop and a front stop for positioning...

LMFAO... yeah, idk how well that would end up working. Honestly though, I haven't filled the two 10oz tanks that came w/ the KP3 yet. I did happen to have a mostly full 20oz though and it was getting very respectable velocity using that without playing with the VA at all.

And to answer your question WALZ, I think it sounds mean down range... But the most intimidating thing about it has to be the racking sound it makes when you pump it. Gotta love Sheridan's for that.
