The great thing about K-series guns is that the longer lower tube ensures a long acceleration before the cartridge heads out on its own. I bet one of those super long prototype kp2s would send them ripping along!

I will say with no shame I did that at a field once to screw with some one.... launched a 12 gram into a the wall of a wood building.

I think people over-estimate the destructive power of the 12 gram rocket, just because it makes alot of noise and clanks and bangs when it ricochets around. Not any more dangerous than a few paintballs at 300 fps IMO, but I'd still probably avoid shooting it directly at someone. Shooting one into their building is another story.
