| Paintball is my Obsession Join Date: May 2011 Location: Pittsburgh, PA | Polishing a PMI-I frame?
What is the PGP and PMI-I trigger frames made of? And can they be polished similarly to steel or aluminum?

They're mostly pot metal....you can sort of polish them up, but it's not going to be a super shiny finish. I think I have one in the basement, if you want a pic of it before you start going at it with a buffing tool.

Whatever polish you get on it won't last long either unless you put some sort of protection on it.

odd how I can make mine shine better than chrome. but, I guess I was taught by the best so there you go... grip and pump handle both pot metal:

I've polished mine up like that LK-13 but they go dull fairly quickly from playing. I never seal/protect them though.

Ya, after polishing, mine turned out that bright. Ill be posting pics in a few minutes. I actually think it may be just cheap cast aluminum. All the aluminum bits polished the same way.
