| Walking without rhythm | KP3 vs KP2 hammer?
I did a quick search but I cant find if there is any difference? I have a normal KP2 hammer...and a second one that has a slot cut down its length. the slot is done very clean and professional...Is this normal? What is the slot for? and will it still work in a KP2? thanks

The slotted hammer is for the late run kp-3's I believe. The slot is for a guide rod coming from the base (trigger assem.) to keep hammer from turning. I am thinking that if slot in hammer rotates to the bottom the sear may not catch. Melkson's first round enabled kp uses that type of trigger assembly. See in holligans horde section.
