- - Pgp2 problems

I have three pgp2's, and all three have problems. The first one needs a new pierce pin. Where could I find one of those? The other two have the same issue: First shot is around 245, then the next is 211, 210, 205, 200, 198, etc. And deadlines at around 190ish. What could be causing this?
Also, what is the going rate for pgp2's these days?
Also, to take out the valve, would a cocker valve tool work, or is there a special one for sheridans?

you don't need a valve tool for the pgp2k1 just take the grip frame off and the valve can be pushed out of either the front or the back.(after you take the caps off ofcoarse.)
the ones shooting low could be spring bind from the rva being turned in to far. Or spring jump want ever you want to call it when the spring jumps on to the rva screw.

Is that what the the whole new fangled "cartridge valve" thing I have been reading about? I have an old pgp without, and haven't seen one before. I will take one apart and see what is going on.
Still need to know, where to get a new pierce pin and market value for a pgp2...
Working stock PGP2 probably $70-$80. Sheridans are prone to the first shot being hot. Overall it looks like you have low velocity. It's probably a spring issue. I can only assume you are turning in the RVA on those??

Nope, not turning in on those. Tried with adjustment in or out and there wasn't a difference. Has to be a spring issue. Is turning the RVA in increase or decrease?

In is increase. You are basically making the spring stiffer against the hammer when you turn in the RVA. This slightly increases velocity.

EDIT: ^^ beat me to it ^^
In is increase, out is decrease. If turning the RVA had no change it probably is spring bind. It also might be shooting hot but the cart valve is in wrong.
MaD there sells pierce pins just follow the link in his sig.
