Pgp bolt lug
 
This might be a quick one, anyhow like the title says I'm searching for a pgp bolt lug. Just picked up a bolt without one. If I can get the one out from my stock bolt how do I do that without destroying it? Is it loctite in there?

The easy way is to remove pump arm- put end of rod back into bolt and twist it cockwise with bolt in fire position. Bolt pin should now be sticking out side of marker where it is notched out. There is a small slot for a small screwdriver in the tip of the pin. Remove with driver or small vice grips (carefully so you don't scratch marker). You can use a #8 set screw for as a new pin (screw it in so it just clears top of hammer. Hope this helps> If there is no slot for a flat driver then its a push in pin and just push it in firm and pull bolt out...

Is it the threaded kind or the type with the push type pin?

Lol its possibly a push pin. Lemme be specific. It's a pgp2 bolt that I'm gonna attempt to take the lug off of. And hopefully put into the new cooper t bolt I got. After an attempt yesterday at unscrewing it to no avail, what you say may help. I'll take a better look and pics for sure when I get home (still posting from work :P). I don't recall a slot for a screwby and that narrows it down for me.

#8 screw could be my savior too, thanks for the tip WALZ, the cooper t bolt is threaded down there and me taking the lug out may be useless.

If it is a PGP2, then it is a push type lug. It is spring loaded so just push it down with an allen then slide it out the back

Yeah, the new PGP bolts use a spring loaded pin that you just push in. Also, unless you're switching to a centerfire bolt, there is absolutely no advantage to the cooper-T over the stock bolt unless you like the pretty red color and $40 less in your pocket. :D

There should be a set screw on the opposite side of the pin. Unscrew that and there should be a spring in there and then you can pull the pin out. For the Cooper-t you will need to make your own lug out of a screw of the right threads for that hole.

Edit: Unless that pin on the stock bolt is not the spring loaded type then it may indeed be just threaded in.
