alright it still leaks, But it doesnt leak when its low on pressure.

If i bought a cartridge valve, is there any modifications i would have to do?

you are modification crazy. It's just a leak. It's fixable. It's just a little tricky for you to describe what you're seeing and hearing and us giving you ideas of what to do next.

because you asked, i'll be a good boy and answer your question....yes there would need to be serious modification. the non-cart valve seats into a....well basically a small tube inside your lower tube. Cart valve just slides in. You don't want to go messing with that.

drive to Hickory. i'll fix it for you. i have the proper tap to clean up your valve nut threads if needed too.

Thats a little to far for me too drive, i only have my permit. i am going to try to buy a new valve spring and hammer spring to see if it is a springing issue...
