| How do you guys clean your KP's? My KP-2 has a little gunk in the side feed. I was wondering how all of you cleaned out your KP's after a hard days play. Plus I want to get her all pretty to hopefully play on Sunday. Thanks. Jonathan |

| Delving into Satinism | If a Qtip is too fat, I take a toothpick and a thick paper towel- put the paper towel down and then use the tip of the toothpick to shove it down into the small crevices. Sometimes I find dipping a paper towel or qtip or what have you in a bit of rubbing alcohol helps remove stray gunk that doesn't come off with wiping and water alone.

| Active Member | Well...I don't own a KP...YET...but I'll explain how I clean my PGP. Firstly, you'll need a 12-gauge shotgun cleaning rod. Take that, get a piece of cloth, get some Hoppes cleaning solution, douse, and run it through your desired tube. This is rather nice because it'll clean gunk and even sort of "polish" the inside of the tube. I'm very superstitious about old brass...so when I'm done cleaning, I wipe it down again with a dry piece of cloth. After a long game (scenarios) or just a full weekend of fun, I also like to take a Remoil pad, found at your local gun maintenance store, and wipe down the exterior. Once again, I'm too paranoid to run it through the barrel or feed tube because it has some sort of oil that shines metals. What this does is it removes sweat and other elements that cause oxidization and prevents future rust. Other than that, every paintballer should have Q-tips and a ragged old paintbrush that they can use to clean the small hard-to-reach areas. Just wet and scrub. --Ruckus |

| Delving into Satinism | Ooo good point on the Windex. I've used that before when I run out of rubbing alcohol or am too lazy to drag it out of the bathroom.

| Mine has a protective spell on it after a visit to the SHRINE of VELCOR, and it no longer gets dirty, and I get 500 shots per 12gram... All Hail Velcor!

| Hmmm.... Maybe I should send mine to Velcor. How much does he charge? I'd guess about 25 virgin souls, right? Titus - Neither. It's the stock side feed. I want to make it spring fed though. So all of you use q-tips to clean inside the feed tubes and barrels? Man, that seems a little ridiculous. |
