WALZ'S Stainless & black wrinkle (a work in progress)

Small bore .680 stainless barrel w/spiral porting.
Wrapped in black wrinkle powdercoat.
Side-tubed springfed feed w/thadaptor feed system
Huge .283 i.d. air transfer ports
Side tapped for c/a
This black is so deep it disappears in the dark- thus the polished s/s so it doesn't disappear on you.
Much more to come...

Another beautiful work of art wally.

On a side note: can you do powder coating with gold powder?

Im interested in where you get your stainless steel barrel from? Also ive seen your other builds and you solder stainless steel to brass. How do you do that?

kscuipider- check out my last post in the other build. I use that same solder and flux for both brass and stainless.
I will have better pics up when I complete some more of this one.
My pics are hurting for sure. (I need you Mar-well just to take pictures for me and thats all).

Oh man. This is awesome in so many ways - one, looks mean as hell. Two, I was going to ask if you could do Thadapter-style feeds, and now I have my answer lol.

One issue though: it's not mine . Congrats to whoever's build this is, it's gorgeous and cruel-looking all at the same time! As always, amazing work Wally.

It's because you braze the Stainless Torch and your chose of rod... either hard "silver" or if you are really tricky and have the right equipment you can use brass rod. The kicker is that you can't go so hot that you permanently damage your tubes.

Walz... Awesome... I thought the damn powder coat was a piece of brass tube that had the same ID as the OD of your stainless that you brazed in place then coated.
