noob questions

Hey guys,

First off played with my Kp2 today loved every second of it.got ALOT of good responses for it, nobody knew what it was and explained it.talked about it with a few people, that liked the charm it had.

but there was one thing I did liked about it changing does expensive 12 grams.

the questions I have are:

Can it handle HPA?and what do I need?
Who does a RVA?
valve tools who has one?
maintenance what to do?
Can I do peformence upgrade?
Widgets are dedents??
what do you do against roll outs?
Thanks for given me this addiction in mags and brass.

Titus has valve tools and does international shipping too!
HPA does not work well on most Sheridans.
Wedgets work well, will stop roll outs.
I don't know your skill level to say if you can do a valve tune or not.

What are these "Wedgets"

I have had trouble with rollouts on all of my sheridans.

Also, your wallet will love you once you mention your newfound addiction.

Wedgets are like dents in the breech, sort of like detents.

The little groove or bump on the barrel just above the trigger is a wedgit.

-Well yeah, no one said 12 grams were cheap
the questions I have are:

Can it handle HPA?and what do I need?
-Yes, yes it could handle HPA, it depends on how you want to set it up.
You can buy a constant air adapter, run a bottomline, and then find a way to mount a tank. It would be easier to find a KP3 which was more built that way. You could get it worked and have a vertical adapter. Just some options. All of these options will cost some good coin.

Who does a RVA?
-Palmers, Walz, Chlpnstone, etc. A machinist with basic skills can do it.
You could even do it yourself if you were confident enough. You drill a hole in the back, thread the hole, and add a large grub screw. Don't mess up tho.

valve tools who has one?
-Titus and Palmers would be the two to hit up for valve tools

maintenance what to do?
-Drop oil down the valve and make sure all the seals are clean.

Can I do peformence upgrade?
-Yup, go through any of the airsmiths on here or palmers. It will cost good moolah tho. Start counting your pennies.

Widgets are dedents??
-Not exactly. They are dents in the barrel that squeezes the paint so there are no roll outs. Detents on most markers are to prevent double feeding.

what do you do against roll outs?
-Get detents if paint is still somewhat large (.685+) or get the KP2 rebarreled with smaller barrel stock (.680 etc)

Thanks for given me this addiction in mags and brass.
Answers broken down in red. Welcome to brass and enjoy your stay.
