The whole box slides back and forward again (just like you want) - it is the pump grip.
The bolt will be retained by a cocker bolt pin in one side I'm thinking.
It has a quick strip notch and bolt is easly removable just by pulling
pin.
It was a pita to make this slide smoothly but the pump stroke
came out sooo....... smooth
and with no side to side wobble at all.
Still working on polishing (a lot of brass here).

And I Love your extended RVA's PBG3 (makes the pump stoke so much easier being able to use the long rifle main springs).

And thats a positive on blinding your opposition - Wife was about 40 ft away and I give her the mini-sun flare treatment. Yep - it blinded her...
