P68SC Pump arm drag

So I recently cleaned up and fixed a p68sc I just got. Valve and everything works now, but it seems like the pump arm is catching some friction and the pump action is not as smooth as i'd like. The bolt itself is very smooth, I can do it by hand with ease.

Are there any replacement pump handles or mods/fixes I can do to the existing one to help this?

Check first to see if it is bent or warped at all. If you're just looking to replace it I think Palmers sells them, or there is someone here making them as well. The pump rods themselves are really easy to make yourself.

You could try lightly sanding the inside of the pump handle.
