What to do with a spare stock

After sending my KP into RTP to convert it into a lever action rifle, he gave me the option to keep my original stock, pump, and bolt. I figured I could use the stock later on down the road for a future build so I opted to keep them. The dilemma is now that I have the stock, I'm not sure what to do with it haha.

The way I see it, I have three options here:

Keep the stock for a future build
Sell the stock
Get a bolt that allows the new conversion to switch between lever and pump aciton

What do you guys think? The stock is kind of beat up, but I like the look of it and it is comfortable to hold.

if you like it, keep it. You could always refinish it, make it look brand new and explore all of your mentioned options that don't involve selling it!

drilled for CA yuck, you wont get much for it might as well keep it.

Yeah... I was wondering if the big gaping hole in the stock for constant air would hurt its resale value. Can't say I'm too surprised that it does lol.

Good point, looks like it's gonna be best for me to keep it then!

refinishing stocks is pretty fun IMHO. You can pick a nice new stain or varnish for it and make it look brand new. You could even carve it up or hit it with a wood burner and really customize it up!
