So seeing as how my PGP has been collecting dust with a blown face seal, I figure it is about time to get to work on stripping, polishing, and upgrading 'er from its former stock condition. It will be my first time brassing up a marker, but I am confident in what materials I need and how I will go about doing so. If anyone has any tips for getting a purrrty brass shine and the best way to protect it, please let me know!

This is what I am considering for upgrades:

• Fast change
• RVA
• Palmer's 12g seal kit w/ Dyna valve
• New hammer spring
• Speed feed
• Titus delrin bolt/speed demon bolt... or perhaps a Gen. Joe's Centerfire (undecided so far)
• Palmer's wedge stock via UMB (will I need a long sear pin?)
• SP wood grips on the way!
• 2.5 inch barrel extension

And I think that's about it! I don't plan to send it to Palmer's just yet for wedgits and barrel honing; I know it would be worth the money, but rollouts and accuracy have not been a major problem with my PGP so far.

Instead of a velocity adjustable hammer, why not just pick up an RVA (rear velocity adjuster)? Then you could adjust it like any autococker on the market.

Good luck with the build. PGPs are cool little markers.

I count about $150-$200 worth of upgrades and parts on that list. I'd suggest just selling the PGP and buying a used superstocker.

Thanks! I wasn't sure whether or not the adjustable hammer was worth investing in... But the RVA seems like the more ideal alternative.

I have put too much love into my PGP already! I can't replace the 'yop-bottle' sound that comes from firing this beauty. I have set aside the funds for this project and I want to put together something that I can call my own!

Well now... $355 later and I've got everything I need from Palmers and Bacci. Mind you, I ended up buying some apparel and parts for my KP2 while on Palmers... so it's probably just around the $300 range for my PGP thus far.

I regret nothing.

I may have to take you up on that! The centerfire bolt I picked up has been a little wonky for me... Anyways, here's another quick update after installing my palmer's swag and finally getting the wood grips on.
