I love the look of it. The stock is out of this world! I'm also really digging the bands on the end of the barrel and lower tube. Looks like something out of a old western movie. Another winner by Wally..

Pictures below show how fore stock grip will be mounted.
I soldered four lugs to the lower tube and used a forestner bit to drill
out inside grip at lug locations. I will be using epoxy to set fore grip
after the marker is powdercoated.
Been gone for a week and leaving again in a few days for another 3 weeks so
will not be able to finish for a bit.
I am really glad that YOU (Hooligan) like it as its what I'm thinking you want for your first strike rifle. It will scabbard very nicly on your back. I am going to call you today and see ifen you want... ( we will do something else with the turrent - I'm thinking direct feed or springfed for that baby as a FSR rifle does not need but one or two cartridges per game (day)..

Yeah Mr. Walz, something like this would totally work for my brass Firststrike build. I'm loving the overall size and look of the project so far. The stock looks just right and you are correct on the turret changer, for a bolt action, FSR only marker, it would be overkill.

Enjoy your well earned vacation and give me a call or send a p.m. when you get back home. I am in no rush at all to get my markers back from you. I sleep good at night knowing that they are in the hands brassmaster Wally and they only continue to get better with the more time you spend with em.

Good deal, I was really hoping you would like it.

Haven't got the sliding breach completed but I did add
a stock to barrel "retainer ring" at front of main forestock.
Need to solder these on barrel parts still..
I still have a lot to go but I must say I did test fire it and its sweet and amazingly quiet for a marker with no barrel porting.
More to come but here is a pic of "retainer ring".
