I am about to re side tube and re barrel a KP2 i recently acquired and was wondering if anyone had the position of the sidetubes feedport entrance into the barrel? As in what degree it is at compared to the top or bottom of the barrel tubing? Thanks.

i usually mill the slotting first, then eye ball it. should be around 90 degrees from the slotting.

I think anything over 90 would be more like a right offset feed like a cocker or nelson type marker. It looks like this barrel i have is not opened up as much as i thought so i should be able to measure it if i can. I was thinking somewhere around 60 degrees but its hard to tell.

Since all three tubes are roughly the same size, the angle is going to be the same as one angle of an equilateral triangle, or roughly 60 degrees.

Ok. I have finally got around to tackling this project. Measuring up the feedports entrance on my lathe using its spindles axis i come up with either 15deg or 75deg for the location of the hole for a sidetube. It is 75deg from its vertical axis and 15deg from its horizontal.
