Dueling pistols

Winter project to get these cleaned smoothed out and shined.
Had not planned to shine them, but now another made mention of dueling... yeah I am a sucker for a duel.

So with Markers from woouulf, parts from Bacci, MaD, Big G, Titus and Palmers.
(with more to be ordered from Palmers - Fasst changer and speed feed)

Maybe I make a decent pair of Z/Pgps.

Did get one upgraded to single airport and enlarged the hole to .22 cal. Making sure it works properly before I go and try to monkey up the other one.

BTW the one in the middle is just benefiting from "left over parts"

They need some badass pirate grips complete with brass trigger guards if you're going to go calling them "dueling" pistols

Those are ZPG94 grips and frames and pump handle (AND trigger AND sear AND sear pin) from the Czech Republic.

These I found on Big G's huge sale of stuff

Don't know that there are any more left.

Frames bolt right on, the sear pin and sear is different because the hole is bigger than stock PGP. The trigger is JUST a tad different in size as well, stock PGP trigger will not work in these frames.

Huh, so what you're saying is that the stock PG trigger won't work with those? In any case, thanks for the link I'm super happy to see there still might be a change.

Nope I tried my PGP triggers in the ZGP frame. Unable to gt the pin in it, and with the safety removed I was able to pin the PGP trigger in the ZGP frame but it had no movement.
Really only about 1/16 inch difference between them, if that much.

And the sear pin is just bigger, actually the same size as the hammer side shaft on a stock brass exhast valve assembly.

BTW the ZGP grips only look better on photos... and yes, they are more durable, but the shape is not optional for shooting. It is the only part what I really dislike on ZGPs. The simple .45 PGP grip frame is a lot better for instinctive fire.
