Kp2 help

How can I make my kp2 more efficient, and have a smooth pump stroke?

you need to give us a little more info about what you have? A bone stock KP2?

pump stroke first.....have you taken off teh pump handle and checked for goo and residue underneath it. I can't tell you how many Sheridan's I've pulled apart to find old nastiness under the pump handle.

Second....if you have the older style bolt, you can take the bearings and spring out.....trip about 2 complete revolutions of the spring down with wire cutters and put back together. This allows less tension from the bearings, but also doesn't allow blowback (which is the purpose of the bearings to begin with)

Efficiency.....you can get your valve body tuned....which is opening up some of the holes and closing others. Palmers does that....so does WALZ (member on here) If you wanna start slightly cheaper....you could just get a dyna valve...someone probably has just the valve they'd sell you.....that's a start...but ultimately you'll want to get your valve body worked on.

If only getting the at many shots, check the paint to bore match. Like Thad said, what are you chrono'd at?

Most peope will send off the marker for a tune. You can use smaller orings on the bolt to help the pump stroke too.

Id chrono that beast to see what you are shooting at. Also, you can put a 12 gram in and pierce it. Cock the gun like you will fire, and then submerge in water to see if any bubbles are present.

It's firing at 270-259-250-250-247 then drops off pretty fast, Granted the paint is on the smaller side. Ill try submerging it in water. Thanks for the help

No not yet, Im waiting on my friend to give me some, ill be playing around with spring combos, It's not leaking from submerging it in water so I'm guessing the springs just need to be played around with

Yup, get a new valve and hammer spring, stock lengths for the KP. That will help. Plus if you get a dyna valve that will help with flow.

Is it possible to make a remote line for it? I've been thinking of ways but cant think of anything since 12 grams are costly
