KP-3 CA Parts

I have a new project. Unfortunately this project KP-3 is missing the tank adapter and the lower tube parts that have to do with getting air to the valve.

Can anyone tell me what I am missing and where to buy it? Or how to build it?

If I get an adapter and mod it to fit do I want the PGP CA Adapter or the P68SC adapter found on Palmers?

Both of those will work fine to be modded. Only difference is how much extra pipe you add. I have made many of these. I think Long Beard did a quick tutorial on how. Let me see if I can find it.

You can sometimes find a stock KP-3 one up for sale, but they were also known for cracking where the fitting screwed in. I would suggest just making your own.

Edit: Found it.

You can make either a PGP or a P-series CA adapter work on a KP. It's really simple actually. MrBig told me how years ago because I had the same problem. I made one, then later bought a K series one.

You just need a trip to the hardware store and a few dollars in parts. Easy.

I think MrBig has a picture tutorial. Let me try to find it....if not I can make one as tutorial for you and others.

EDIT: HA HA HA HA>...we both replied at the same time. I'll do a tutorial this afternoon and walk you through each step. HA HA!!!

We shouldn't have school....or at least a delay. The killer is the guy who decides those things is a good friend of mine. I know that he personally gets up at 4:30am and drives the back country roads and hills to see if the roads are OK. So I normally give him lots of leniency on his decisions....this morning.....bad one. Roads are horrible.

I'll have the walk through in a few minutes.

So as I was taking pictures, I thought to myself....this seems too familiar....I feel like I've done this already. I did some digging. MrBig was right....I did do a tutorial on this already. Here's the link. Who do we talk to about getting this stickied?
