Talking PGP widgets on a budget

I know it's been done many times over but this is an attempt to make really easy and clear for all to understand.
Items used

Method
1. Placed ball and dowel in barrel, made sure bolt was in forward position then marked dowel

2. Transferred dowel mark measurement with sharpie onto barrel "widget area"

3. Placed 12mm Snap-On socket and extender inside barrel

4. Grabbed small "HONEY DO HAMMER" and hardened machine screw and give it a little love tap!

5. Results

Looks like it came out pretty well. I might just try that. All I'm missing is the dowel.

I've done homemade wedgits before, but your way is very clear and straight forward. I might have to try it on the pgp I'm trying to sell right now.

good job, have you had a chance to try it out yet? Did you do both sides?

Do you have any pictures down the bore to see how much the indent protrudes? I will probably try this out on my pgp.
