PMI thread Damage

I have an PMI and I slightly damaged the threads on the bottom co2 barrel. Does anybody know the size of Tap I need to clean it up ? It looks to be a very fine pitch.

Thank you !

I have that tap but don't remember offhand. Not a common size. Where are you located?

Located in south orange county , Ca.
I can send it to PPS but its nice to have the option to repair it myself and possibly do some modifications in the future also.

The tap is about $40-50,so might be worth it to use only once.

what do you mean 'a little damaged'?

does the cap still thread in?
you might be able to fix it using your cap, hammer and a file?

there is a slight deformation on one "corner" of the tube so its tough to get the knob started. I was able to take a small pick to ream out the threads a bit which helped.

MaD ..thank you very much for the link. 13/16-28 Im gonna confirm the Diameter as soon as i borrow a caliper.

Thanks for all your help guys. I love this site !
