Wait, what? Unless he has a PG convert the bolt should work. What difference is there outside of the speeddemon type setup in the pgp2? Diameter, pin location, BB holes and bolt length all match up. Fixed pin though so a quickstrip slot would be needed...

I asked because I recieved a cooper t bolt in a trade for my stock pgp bolt and it was a bit tougher to cock. I lubed it up a bit fired about 40 through it and it seems to be be getting easier to cock now

It's a cooper T bolt. But I was frustrated with the not so smooth cocking action of the cooper T. I was going to search for a replacement and got to wondering if the pgp 2k bolt would work in my older pgp? My original bolt was very smooth I had taken the bearings out and the pump action was a whole lot slicker than this cooper t bolt I have now

Well there were a couple styles of cooper T as well. The speed demon bolt and the undershot. The undershot did have the balls but was delrin and no o-rings. Not sure if the latter was made for the PGP though.

I assume you have the speed demon bolt. If so, there's nothing to be gained with the pgp2 bolt as they're almost identical (sheridan actually used the design).

If you don't shoot one handed and actually hold the pump handle then ditch the balls. Also the o-rings tend to drag a LOT when new. You can try a size down and see if it helps or just break it in for a while. Best option would be PPS delrin o-rings. I actually prefer the stock solid back bolts with the balls out or just make my own out of delrin.

Oh yeah it's not fun on those. You have to knock the pin out and take the whole bolt apart. What was wrong with your original bolt though?
