Why does my Piranha LB leak down the lower tube :(

Hi All, I have a Piranha LB that seems to insist on leaking down the lower tube no matter what I do. I've replaced the valve seal and stem with one from Palmers, which seemed to have no effect on the leak.

I put some water in the bottom tube and aired it up, and air seems to be leaking from the right side. Is it possible for there to be a leak around the banjo around and the valve area? It does not appear to be leaking out the back at all, only the front.

I am running it on a CO2 tank, not HPA if that is useful information at all.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

there are little rubber o-rings that go around those banjo fittings. If they're pinched or cut they'll leak. That's where I'd start.

Just like LB said - there is a O ring on each side of the fitting nut.
Most of the time you can remove and clean - add some dow 33 0r 55 to the O rings and screw in firmly - not butt tight...
Should do the trick...

If its leaking from the fittings do what WALZ said.
If its leaking from the front of the bottom tube, have you ever used your brass as a Fire poker? (meaning have you ever heated it up to solder something)

The Back bottle Piranhas are all soldered up in front of the valve

Definitely leaking down the lower tube, when I take the cap off I can see the CO2 vapor come puffing out. I've never heated it up, but i don't know what may have happened to it previously in life.

Never like this, I've only done electronics.

I'm doing the exact same thing to the same marker right meow. Hopefully WALZ or someone of better experience can confirm that I'm not leading you in the wrong direction.

Basically all that would be needed is a cleanup of the front of the valve a long Qtip with flux and some solder.
