My first brass

I have been out of paintball for a few years and my old scenario team "made" me go play fulda gap and the bug is back. I am tired of electros for now and want to go back to oldschool. So I found this site while looking for pump stuff and have wanted a pump pistol for years. On Craig's list I found a pgp2 for 60 and I am picking it up tonight but wanted some things to look for. I'm going to gas it up but don't have paint to try it and meet is not at a field. So any input is appreciated.

I"m not exactly sure what you're looking for. A PGP2 will be a great little shooter for you. Not much you need. Just get some paint and 12 grams and run all day.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry I wasn't more clear. Mostly meaning things I should check before purchasing the marker.

Check for dents in the barrel, especially the muzzle. If there are dents in the feed tube just make sure they don't impede paintballs from rolling around. More or less anything else wrong with it would be pretty simple to fix. Sixty clams is a nice little deal.

Check the threading on the 12g plug and make sure it is not damaged and threads in and out nice and smooth. Make sure the frame isn't cracked. Other than that and the obvious holding air there isn't much to worry about but even a leak is quite easy to fix. If the seller knows if its a cartridge valve or old style that would be good info. Many of the cartridge guns have a longer barrel than the feed and valve tubes. The cartridge valve guns are much easier to work on IMO because you don't need a special tool to take the valve out and the entire assembly comes right out which is nice.
