So these work similar to the Cooper-T ones?

Quote:
Cooper T's backbottle velocity adjust has a allen screw at the top of the ASA (hole drilled thru ASA) with a pin (lacking a better term) inside the ASA that pushes against the main spring.

You could also get a velocity adjust hammer. It has a bearing on teh inside of the hammer and an allen screw that pushes on the bearing....which pushes on the main spring.

Good luck.
Piranha LB Velocity Adjuster help.

Very cool, are they externally adjustable or do you have to take it off to adjust?

Use the same concept. Drill and tap the center of the rear plug on the Special. Now get a long set screw to fit the tapped hole. Drill a short hole in the end of the screw that the spring and stiffener can seat in to capture the end of the spring. You may want to wrap Teflon tape on the set screw so it doesn't adjust itself while shooting.
I will try to get a picture of mine if this doesn't make sense.

Matt, the RVA looks good and the price is right. Would you be willing to sell a scrap chunk of the seal material so I can fix my puma?
