Sheridan lube

So, I've noticed this with both my Piranha and a PGP I helped a friend with; whenever I use Gold Cup or similar oil on my bolt, the o-rings swell or something and the pump stroke goes to hell. A) is this normal, B) if so, what should I be using instead, and C) if not, what do I need to do to fix this?

tri-flow fully synthetic, most bicycle shops carry it or go to the website and check local shops

Good cup is paintball specific bro.

I was wondering about triflow, but wasn't sure if it was safe.

Gold cup is a very thin oil that, in my experience, is really only suited for light lubrication (ie. MontNeels or other liquid CO2 powered paintguns).

I had some luck with extreme rage paintball lube, but that's run out and I'm looking for another as well.

My sheridans are palmerized. They delrin flat rings, lube with PPS synthetic oil in nail polish bottle. Regular Sheridan bolt orings, I use gold cup oil.

I know it's an old thread (ish), but I thought I'd chime in. I've been using the same container of H8R Sauce on every gun I've owned for the last 8 years. The container's still mostly probably about 80% full, and I use it liberally.
