| Active Member | OK, All you had to remove was the pin that goes through the back part of the trigger group. Once that is out, just start to twist it back and forth while pulling it out, it will slide right out. Then with your vlve tool you can remove the rest.

| Seasoned Member Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: Here and There | You had it correct, the front pin that actually goes through brass is the one you need to remove. If the pin is too tight to push out without hitting it with a hammer then your trigger group is probably binding the pin into the brass. To get mine out I usually push the trigger group towards the tubes and give it a soft twist to either direction to see if it is binding. If you have succeeded in getting the pin out and the trigger still won't come out then try pumping the gun; The added force of the spring may help you pull the group out the back. If it still doesn't come out then you may have to give it some penetrating oil or just send it in whole if you aren't willing to go to more drastic measures. |

| MCB Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: NC | yeah once the pin is removed you'll need to twist it side to side while pulling back on it. i'd go ahead and remove the trigger too, that way it won't scratch up the tubes when twisting the rear plug. sometimes they are tight, but it'll come out. |

| MCB Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: NC | another helpfull tip... i use a screw driver that will fit in the pin hole that the trigger was in. that'll give you a little extra leverage on the rear plug so you can twist side to side. just make sure the screw driver fits the hole good so you don't booger up the pin hole. |

| Endearingly quirky | PPS is definately the place to send it to. They did wonders for my basket-case KP3. Look at my money-pits link below and look at the before/after pics on page 3. I sanded the stock down, and re-finished it with red mahogany stain and tung oil. It turned out amazing.
