You are the second person to suggest a scratch build and it might happen that way too, who knows. Tis the reason why I don't just jump into such silliness without first asking the questions.

Ideally I would love it to be freaked, but I may be able to live without.

I am aware of the aluminum pumps causing more wear but I like the way they look and feel better.

Let me be the third person to suggest a scratch build. I know that Stuffy would also suggest a scratch build.

Some additional features would be useful, such as the ability to use PGP2K fast CO2 changer threads.

PM me if you'd like a few thoughts on build specs.

i'll fourth the scratch build suggestion if you decide to freak adapt it, 'donor' pgp's are cheaper than the labor to desolder & clean all that brass. also curious what double pgp you have... only a dozen or so in the wild that I know of

if you do go with forced patina which i love doing i highly recommend you get corks and plug each open end of the tubes before patina and coat the inside first inch with Vaseline it will help to stop the chemical reaction from entering the tubes.

after you have your desired finish coat it with enamel clear it should last and be scratch resistant from the pump stroke.

excited to see the turn out let me know if you have questions regarding the patina.
