couple different things to try. strong magnet is great but rarely works. Or you could drill a hole in it and use a pick to pull it out.

Leave the co2 knob off. Try a very hard swinging action to the floor, like chopping wood. You can also try to "shoot it out" by cocking and firing. Sometimes that will dislodge it.
If you have a fast change sleeve on it and it wont pass that, remove the sleeve with a strap wrench first then try.

Cock the gun and pull the trigger. See if it falls out.

take off the grip and remove the back plug, hammer and main spring. Put another empty 12gram or wooden dowel or something else in there so that it touches the stem to the cup seal. Give it a nice tap. That pushes the piercing pin into the the stuck 12 grams and should dislodge it.

Always works for me.

it would be a good idea to go ahead and put in a new face seal on the chamber plug. if you don't, chances are that 12 grams will continue to stick in there. when those seals get old and worn out they sorta form themselves around the tip of the 12 gram and that's why they get stuck.

Palmer's Pursuit Shop has them.
You can buy just the 12gr face plug seal but unless someone recently replaced all the seals you will most likely need to replace at least some of the other seals as they tend to be pretty dried out on the older Sheridans.
Make sure you have the tools needed to pull the valve as well.
