My pgp :)

I finally managed to get hold of a pgp and it appears to be in a pretty good shape. I haven't gassed it up yet but the o-rings appears to be ok.

Was thinking of getting a nicer grip for it.. maybe a battle grip if i can find one.
Should i polish it and add some bling-bling?
I'll be using it as a sidearm during woodsball and scenario games.

i wouldn't polish it. use it as is, or if you can spare the cash, send it to PPS and get a performance tune.

It looks good as it sits. I wouldn't polish it either, but I hate bare brass in general. To much upkeep and nasty fingerprints etc.

Nice pgp.

If your going for an entire polished brass theme then maybe but if your thinking of just polishing the body I would say no like the other guys.

I've seen some nice pgp with a metal finish (not brass) and I was thinking about getting that for it, but I'll just leave it as it is. Also thought about getting a k-frame but it seems to make it a bit bulkier. I sold off my acp2 cause it was too bulky so I should probably keep the pgp as compact as possible.

Are the battle grips for the pgp hard to find? The ones i found here were pending

The battle grips are no longer in production from what I've found. However... somebody in the deadzone said that they were thinking of producing some as a 3rd party as long as enough demand was there... it's a poled thread so it should be too hard to find. Also, they tend to pop up on e-bay, but are picked up quickly. Lurk around there, too. I, too, would love some battle grips as my hands slip a bit on the stock grips...

Nice PGP, don't polish it. I was going to polish it too but c6quad's persistance kept me from it.

Battle grips are indeed out of production, but do turn up fairly regularly. Keep an eye out here and on ebay and you should be able to nab a pair for $25-$30. Just be patient.

yeah, i can be persistant when it comes to preserving a nice Sheridan. the reality of it though, it's your gun and you can do what you want with it. i just hate to see a nice original finish polished away. i made the mistake of polishing my very first pgp years ago and i can honestly say that it now looks like utter ****.

i say leave the original finish on it, play with the gun the way it was meant to be played with and at the same time, take care of it and let it wear naturally. it'll have its own characteristics worn into it over time and will still be original.

I agree on the PPS Perf Tune. It'll double the number of shots you get per 12g.
