Dissecting Speed Demon Bolt

Is there any way to get the Speed Demon fully apart? I've got the bolt pin, bearings, etc out, but I'm now stuck at the very back piece where the knurled knob to release the cocking rod is located. Anyway to get that knob and the spring out? It's rusted to crap and needs a good steel wooling.

i've never taken the back piece apart but i'll assume that the "hex" looking part will unscrew from the back piece but i don't know for sure.

Yup, you can wrench the back off. I believe there is a roll pin on the last section to allow you to remove the spring and the rest of the guts.
