The pin is fully released and is not engaged with the hammer.

okay, so i broke out an lb bolt and threw it in tacolex's k2, here's a pic of the 'stop' i was talking about...

if that ring went into the barrel as it looks to have, it'll take some force (dowel down the barrel?) to remove it...did the bolt still have the locking bb's? the locking mechanism is all the way forward as well...the location of the bolt in the pic above is how far back it'll travel before the cocking jug hits the back of the slot...

Can't you just push the pin up and pull the bolt at? Or is there something I'm not seeing..

i don't see why you can't push in the pin by inserting a skinny screwdriver through the slot in the bottom tube where the trigger grabs the hammer. you can easily access the pin through that slot.

The hammer is still in there. The only access I have is the tiny game in between the top and bottom tube.

why can't you remove the hammer to access the pin from the bottom?

ahhh... so the hammer won't come out because the pin won't let it. correct?

if that's the case, i'm not sure what you can do... other than desoldering the barrel.

hmmm you realize once you get this solve a few people are going to laugh at you... anyways that sucks alot but this seems a little less drastic than unsodering the barrel. on my kp the gap looks big enough that you could probally fit a hack saw blade in there an cut that pin. it would probally ruin the bolt but it might save the gun... just my thought thou...
