i forgot, yeah you can make a lug from a set screw or bolt. i'd make sure it's either a stainless or grade 8 bolt/screw. that way it'll stand up to the abuse of cocking the gun. too soft of a screw will easily deform.

Thanks, I'll give that a go. The threads look fine above the broken lug so I think I'll have enough left to stick with the stock size. Worth a shot at least.
