one thing you guys need to think about when doing this is to not go overboard with the washers(or whatever you use) and extend it too long. the less amount of threads that make contact, the weaker the hold will be and you risk stripping the threads. and it'll be the threads in the brass that strip, not the steel knob threads. if those threads strip and let go, you could have a potentialy dangerous rocket on your hands so be careful.

Definitely true, especially considering that you're probably going to be pointing that potential rocket at someone. I'm only going to put one or two washers in my P68, and I'll probably test it to make sure that the entire powerlet would vent before I could entirely unscrew the changer. Still, good point to make, can't be too careful.
