| It has an velocity adjuster. Would cocker springs work? EDIT: i found the correct wrench for the bolt. Now it slides back and forth, now what? Apparently, It doesn't come with a velocity adjusting bolt. That bolt I unscrewed apparenly controlled where the BBs are. Didn't do anything to change velocity. Also, If I add any more shims to the RVA, It won't cock. Last edited by Aim for the trash; 05-15-2008 at 07:55 PM. |

| It's a velocity adjustable bolt. Trust us and just screw that screw all the way in. Also, if you have a velocity adjuster, use it!! If you need more tension, take the RVA off and shim that spring!

| There should be 4 BBs in the bolt. 2 that lock the bolt fwd (the ones you should be able to see through the holes in the side of the barrel when the bolt is forward) 2 smaller BBs under the back o-ring on the bolt that act as detents for the velocity adjuster. Also, just to make sure we aren't all talking about different things here the velocity adjuster is accessed through the front of the bolt by putting the appropriate hex key down the air passage. The knob on the back of the bolt outside the gun isn't the velocity adjuster. The velocity adjuster screws out to partially block the air path up into the bolt. It should click every half turn & must be set in one of the clicked positions otherwise air will leak out through it.

| I know, it looks like brass. I had one made for a PGP I passed down to a family member. As for velocity... The Demon bolt, as it is called? Sucks. Have PPS put one of theirs and be done.
