Why my P68SC shooting so low?

I can't even get my chrono to read it. It comes with a velocity adjuster.

Please, i need this working by saturday!

Well more info would help...
was the gun shooting paint out of the barrel at all?
was the crono working properly?
was the 12 gram fresh?
what was the weather?
how was the paint to barrel match?
was it piercing the 12 gram?
is the velocity adjuster all the way in / out?

check the bolt and see if it has a velocity adjuster in it and make sure it's screwed in so it doesn't choke the air flow.

pull the bolt out and look down in the end and see if you see a set screw. if there one, screw it clockwise until it stops.

As in looking DOWN the bolt? If you mean that, yes there is one in there.

Sounds like you have a weak/too short main spring. If you pull the end cap off the back of the lower tube you can put washers or a ball bearing in the cap for the spring to rest on to raise the velocity.

Also, if the bolt has a velocity adjuster and it's missing the BBs you will lose some air through the adjuster.

Another thing I would try would be putting a cut-down K series spring in there. Back the adjuster most of the way out, then trim the spring until you hit 250ish. That should leave you with plenty of adjustability.

Aren't P68-SC's notorious for shooting low?
