pgp spring return pump

has anyone done this ?? i want to use my pgp but the ball berings get anoything . and when i hold it double handed the shot pushes the bolt back and its anoying . so i was thinking to put a small nut or somthign around the pump arm and brazed to the body , and a spring between that and the plastic pump . so thers no blow back lol .

You'd have to put a pretty hard spring. PGP's aren't the smoothest.

well to mount the nut , do i use jb weld ? whould that work as a test ? do i have to jb weld it to the brass or can the paint be on it ? and my pgp is extreamly smooth

Use superglue to test it out. It's not that hard to knock it off if it doesn't work. Then put some JB weld on when you finalize it.

Experiment with different ones. the Phantom stock spring would probably work. Remember you can easily make it tougher or looser by moving the nut.

well thats on a phantom . i was just gonn a put a sleeve for the pump rod to go thure and the spring sets up next to . i whould have to thread the pump rod if i wanetd to do that

No I mean you can adjust the strength of it by moving the nut. Once you JB weld it, it's in place. Sorry if I misunderstand you, I can't understand half of the stuff your saying.
