I may be wrong, but didn't Sheridan come out with a "pirate" model K2 for a very, very, VERY short time?
I don't know much about these markers, did Sheridan make a factory "pirate" stock model K2? It would be nice to know if they did or didn't make one. The person that I got it from said that he bought it like this, 20 years ago. Either someone did a nice job cutting this stock down or it came this way. Anyone have any info on these stocks?

I have no knowledge of a factory pirate stock.
As far as I know, all the pirate stocked K2's/KP's you see are self done.

Born4Evil seriously sounds like the devil himself, and its awesome. That gun is hands down the most badass gun in my mind.

Very little played time you say.... very suspicious... Sheridan came out iwth an explosive pirate stocked K2 at one point... quite dangerous infact. If you send it over to the UK i'll happily get rid of it, For absolutley free, what a deal eh?

Otherwise that gun is incredible.... that blacking is... wow...PERFECT

Someone did a heck of job, on this stock. I keep looking at it(the stock) and it just looks too nice of a cut, to have been done by anyone other than the factory. But like I said, I don't know much about these markers and it could've very have been done by an individual. Any input, would certainly be appreciated! :-)

it was very likely cut. Factory stocks were usually varnished, and the dark grip area shows it was carried. A few higher grade stocks in a semi-curly-striped maple existed, c6quad has an example, and almost 100% of examples were a bit 'shiny' in the varnish dept, which paint quickly killed.

All in all, you have a very nice k2 bolt action, be it cut or not. k2 stocks or 'f' stock sheridan pellet rifles do come around from time to time, and you will eventually have the pleasure of both options for the marker.

enjoy

My "pirate" stock K2 marker with a full stock--

This is the same "pirate" stock K2, that I posted pictures of earlier, but I took the stock off one of my Sheridan model "F" pellet guns, and now it has a different look. Thanks again guys, for the information that you all gave me.
