Taking off the feed tube?

Im wanting to throw a Phantom feed on my PMI-1, because I just cannot run with a rock back and cock marker anymore, but just love the marker to much.

Whats the best way to get it off? How hot do I need to get it roughly?

Yes, I am open to comments about sacrilege.

Tear the marker apart. Heat the tube with either mapp gas or propane and it should just fall off, clean up with steel wool and polish.
Not sure how you will put a CCI one on there.
You could just do like the super stoker and cut it down to fit a tube and then put a plug in the other end.

You can actually use a clean cotton cloth to wipe off the solder while it is still hot. That takes away a lot of the time you would use trying to grind/sand it off.

I would just flip the feed tube around and then re attach it. Get a Phantom feed gate and holder for the end that was the old front plug. You can replace the little "knob" on the old feed plug with a button head screw and hold it on the tube so you can then feed from the back of the tube.
