Detent Problem With PGP?
Not sure if PGPs use an actual detent, but anytime I'm playing with this thing, it seems the balls roll out of the barrel very easily. Often time, if I cock it and then aim it downwards before taking my shot, the ball will roll right out. Other times, the ball will be halfway through the barrel before I shoot, so it'll go almost nowhere. Any suggestions?

It doesn't have anything to stop it stock. I heard some talk about sending it in and getting "Wedgets", I think palmers shop maybe? I'm sure someone else here knows better.

There's also the whole nail polish thing you can do. Put a drop or two in the barrel to stop the roll outs. And palmer's does the widgets.

nail polish is harder to do in Sheridans because of the fixed barrel.
As stated Palmers does wedgits. They're basically little dents in your barrel that prevent rollout. It's 25 bucks plus shipping.
There's also a cheappo way to prevent rollout. It doesn't look great, but works. You can take yard and let it go down your barrel. Attach it through the feed tube. It'll let your ball fire, but hold it snug. You'll need to replace the yarn throughout the day of play because the bolt will chew it up.

Any other ways? I just feel like whenever I read reviews of the PGP stock (no upgrades or wedgits or anything), no one seems to mention the ball rolling out. I feel like mine is doing it more...
So any cheap-o ways would be appreciated haha (anyone have a link for the nail polish idea?). The time frame of when my next game is doesn't allow me to send it away, and I plan to play with it as my primary.

They probably don't mention it because most PGP users doing the review use other pumps, and most don't have detents.

One of the easiest things to do is get bigger paint .. I've found that the cheaper grades of paint are usually bigger, at least around here, and you don't get so much trouble with balls rolling out. Sheridans seem to do just as well with cheap paint as with the good stuff, so you shouldn't notice much of a difference.

ForeverSpyder - I suppose you're right.
It looks like nail polish may be a bit tricky due to the integrated barrel/feedtube, but I'll manage something. I figure I'll remove the bolt, do my best to approximate where the ball would rest after the bolt closes (looks like about 1/3 down the middle tube), reach down with a long paint brush, and apply my coats. If anyone doing this to a PGP has a better method, please speak now or forever hold your peace. This mod was obviously made for guns with separate barrels haha.
hank_k - I agree completely, but unfortunately most of the fields around here are FPO, so I'm at their mercy depending on the paint they've ordered.

just send it to palmers for wedgits, or do your own
Wedgits are a little costly in my opinion. I used the nailpolish method on a stock cocker barrel and I get no rollouts. It also shoots darts :D
