RaSs FR, your not going to find a set screw in your gun's tube like Fun... is talking about. your gun has not been modified like Fun's.

I bet you never had no stock Sheridan in hands, so you just couldn't know! That's why I told you the better is to plug 3 holes, because I actually have 4 opened holes.


So back to my question: would it be fine to plug 3 holes directly on the valve and replace it with the 4th one upside, without drilling the valve tube? To me it just would be a bit awkward to replace it inside, but besides this, would it be a problem?

you could do it that way but it is going to be hard to get the unplugged hole to line up correctly because the valve body is going to spin as you tighten down the valve nut.
