| BAAaaaaaaaa!  Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: VA | VM brass barrels?
Any intrest from you VM shooter regarding brass barrels?? I found what I think are VM Barrels for sale locally, old thin walled brass..One of them has a wierd Shroud/Muzzle break thing that slides up and down pretty freely....My guess is that it was some attempt at Adjustable porting. Can someone show me (Email or post a picture) of the thread pattern (Or lack there of) so I can compare them. If they do in fact turn out to be what I think they are, what would be a fair price for them?..I am not trying to turn a profit and they arent any good to me since I dont own a VM....But then..I do have an empty spot on my wall  HMMMAnyhow, Fire away. Thanks, I'll go compare....But as of right off the top of my head, looks like most of the brass he has are F2 barrels, I'll update after I hit the shop and get another look at them. Thanks again for the link, Its handy. Goat

Thin walled brass barrel with a sliding compensator thing? Sounds like a PPS barrel with one of their speedball muzzle breaks on it. They were designed to slide back when you needed to be small in a bunker and slide foreward so you can have a longer barrel to push bunkers with.

I seem to remember at least one like that, I havent made it back to the shop since before I posted...No worries though, I am the only person in the area who buys stuff like that. Its funny actually, when I walk in the shop the owner starts digging in old boxes and telling me to "Dig" around...I have found a few little things, but there arent any KP's hidden there. I am going to try to get over there this week and get some pictures for you guys (Ladies?). Goat
