| Active Member | PGP wont cock all the way
My PGP only cocks the second the degree, and it just happened when I was fooling around with it today. To be more specific, it doesnt cock where the bolt clears. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

... do you mean only the bit the pump arm connects to goes back, or the hammer doesn't catch when you pump back ? The former is an issue with the pin that comes down from the bottom of the bolt, the latter is most likely an RVA that's in too far or an issue with the pin that comes off the bottom of the hammer

It is what you need to screw out so it catches on the cocking lip of the hammer. To remove the bolt you need to remove grip handle #46 and mainspring plug #27, pump rod #31 from the bolt then pull the bolt back enough that the cocking lug lines up with one of the holes on the right side of the valve tube. Once you do this rotate the bolt so that the bottom of cocking lug is sticking out. Once you do this just unscrew it enough that it catches the hammer.

worth nothing that that isn't a PGP, but al the bits are essentially the same, so no worries (edit: no worries to mayor) just to be even more clear, when you push the pump handle back, do two things go back and come forward or does only one thing go back ?

could the rva/end cap be screwed in too far? i know on 2k1 pgp's sometimes if the rva is screwed in to line up the wrong grip frame hole it can prevent the gun from re-cocking properly
