Sheridan Piranha LB

I recently purchased, but have not yet received, a vintage Piranha LB. This particular gun has a direct feed and back bottle. The auction description says it's in fully working condition (the person had used it as a loaner marker just recently) and it appears to be in excellent shape. Is there anything I should know about maintenance or care of one of these guns? Thanks for the assistance.

Good solid marker. My x wife still has hers. She won't sell it to me either (another reason I hate her)

Check PGPOG.org for some useful tips on old PMI/Sheridan maintenance. Also, American Paintball's store is selling all sorts of parts for various repairs you may need to do to keep it running. Enjoy!

Until you get yours, here's what one looks like

This one is destin for palmers.
Performance tune, ball detent, velocity adjustor, and maybe a quick strip.

Very nice. The one I bought's been stripped to the bare brass and polished. These guns look so much better that way. I may get it performance tuned, although I'll play with it a while first. Mine has the black plastic pump handle. I prefer the way the blue metal one looks, but I have no doubts that I made the right choice. I wanted a direct feed, and with guns this old it's hard to find the exact model in working condition.

The little bit I did shoot with it, was sweet.
One of the best places to aquire these types, is show up at an EMR castle.
It looks like a fully functioning please touch museum in the bunkhouse.(most for sale too)
