| Phat. | Bolt locked in the upright position...
I recently received my first VM68 and am pretty pumped about owning one of these monsters... Small problem though - I cant seem to get the bolt to go home. It is locked in the "up" position in that notch. Any help you guys could give me would be most appreciated. Thanks! -Eli

Try loosening the screw that is also the cocking handle,if it's too tight it wont allow you to move it up and down freely.......If so,It also means more than likely the small ball bearing for the safety assembly is missing. While you can use the VM without it,I'd suggest getting a new bearing for it in this case. www.vm68.com should still have them.
